Motu is one of the leading characters of the ‘MotuPatlu’ show who lives in Furfuri Nagar. A bit towards the chubby side in appearance; he is expressive in his feelings and always looking around ways to earn quick money. Samosas give him power but he often lands himself in unnecessary and problematic situations because of his hasty decisions and over expressive nature.
Moreover, it is pertinent to mention here that his love for Samosas is so intense that he often ends up trying to steal them from the local ‘Chaiwala’ and finds himself caught and being rescued by his friend Patlu later on. He believes that Samosas make him so powerful that after eating them; he can defeat anyone, anywhere in this entire world.
His general outlook resembles that of a fun-loving, carefree type of person. Generally; he likes to help people but can be a bit of bragger at times especially when he is narrating or celebrating his achievements or even when he has done nothing at all. As a result of it; he does something foolish and lands himself in problem.
Motu as a Best Friend
He is the best friend of ‘Patlu’ who bears the brunt of all his pranks and problems and can be found saving him on many occasions. Though they have opposite natures; yet they can always be seen together. You can expect something funny or out of the box from Motu like for example bringing a pirate back to life in the modern world of today who was sent back to the past by them.
Motu Dressing
His dressing sense is pretty amusing as well. Wearing a red tunic and a dark blue or sometimes black vest, yellow trousers and shoes with a talking style largely influenced by Dara Singh; Motu is a kind helping soul, a samosa lover & is fun to get along with.
