Chaiwala facts of Motu and Patlu in 2017

Behold the newest crime fighting superhero duo, Motu, and Patlu! Together they save the city and the people, like the sabzi wala from the nefarious Don the John, who tries to be a well-known criminal with help from his cronies, Number one and Number two.  While Patlu is smart and cunning, Motu gets all his explosive powers from the magical Samosas which he loves to eat. He tries to steal them from the chaiwala, who makes the most delicious samosas in the city.

Let’s look closely at our protagonist duo. Motu loves samosas and gets powers like Chota Bheem by eating them.  He always looks for the easiest ways to make money, and thus tries his utmost to always steal the samosas from chaiwala’s stall. Although he always brags about completing all these tasks that are impossible for him, he’s a good person at heart and always looks out for his friends, especially Patlu. Patlu, on the other hand, is smart, but he always gets in trouble alongside his friend Motu. Patlu is the opposite of Motu, he wants to live a normal life with no tensions and no problems. In contrast to Motu’s love for Samosas, Patlu doesn’t like them, however, he does love to read newspapers.

So who are they fighting against anyway? Let’s examine the story of Don the John, the show’s main antagonist. John aims to be the crime boss of Furfuri Nagar, but he always comically falls short of his goals, leading to him getting arrested and taunted by others. He’s not afraid of the police, rather he’s afraid of our crime fighting duo, Motu and Patlu!
